Sleep Is For The Week has been described by Turner as "a snapshot of pretty much exactly one year of my life," and was a sharp left turn from the post-hardcore sound of his previous work with Million Dead. Shortly after the dissolution of the band, Turner got ahold of a copy of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska, which would prove to be a major influence on the stylistic shift which can be heard on songs like "Vital Signs," "My Kingdom For A Horse," "Must Try Harder," and "Wisdom Teeth." 13 songs in total, pressed on chocolate milk colored vinyl limited to 1000.
